The Qwen team on Tuesday released a robotics suite featuring three foundation models: Qwen-RobotNav, Qwen-RobotManip, and Qwen-RobotWorld. These three models align language with different types of physical actions. Qwen-RobotNav extends vision-language capabilities into mobile robotics through controllable observation encoding and tool-based interfaces. The model unifies four key tasks within a single framework: instruction following, goal-directed navigation, target tracking, and autonomous driving. Qwen-RobotManip standardizes the state-action space and represents end-effector motion as incremental poses in the camera coordinate system. Trained on more than 38,100 hours of fully open-source data, the model supports large-scale learning across multiple robot platforms, enabling a broad range of manipulation capabilities. Meanwhile, Qwen-RobotWorld serves as a general-purpose world model that connects vision-language understanding with future-state prediction through a natural-language action interface. The model can forecast physically consistent future outcomes across navigation, driving, and manipulation scenarios, allowing a single world model to generalize across diverse embodied AI tasks.
Xiaomi’s large model team on Tuesday launched Xiaomi MiMo Claw, a lightweight cloud-based AI agent powered by its flagship MiMo-V2.5-Pro model. Built on the OpenClaw framework, MiMo Claw is deeply integrated with the Kingsoft Office ecosystem, allowing users to generate, preview, and edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF documents within a unified workflow. The agent supports the MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool-calling standard and can execute more than 1,000 consecutive tool calls in a single session. DJI on Monday unveiled the new dual-camera pocket cinema camera, the Osmo Pocket 4P, with the standard package priced at 3,799 yuan ($562). Chinese developer S-GAME has delayed the release of Phantom Blade Zero from September 9 to October 29, announcing the change during Sony’s latest State of Play presentation. Baidu’s autonomous driving service Apollo Go, in partnership with Switzerland’s largest public transport operator PostBus, has begun road testing its driverless service AmiGo in Switzerland. The project is planned to achieve regular commercial operations by 2027. AmiGo will primarily serve underserved public transport areas in eastern Switzerland, including the Lake Constance region and the Alpine foothills.
