UK arrests 5 after incident near airbase used by US bombers

Gloucestershire police said the men were detained on suspicion of offences under the Explosives Act, and that bomb disposal experts were investigating UK police say they arrested five men in connection with an incident near a Royal Air Force base used by US bombers. Assistant Chief Constable Richard Ocone said police got a call at about 12.45am regarding three suspicious vehicles near RAF Fairford. He said the men have been taken into custody and that police are working along with counterterrorism police.
