China’s electric vehicle exports rose 68.7% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, according to customs data released on July 14. Exports of electric motorcycles and bicycles increased 31.5%, electric locomotives 45.1%, lithium batteries 37.6% and wind turbines 35.6%. The same data showed that exports of AI-integrated intelligent bionic robots exceeded 10,000 units and reached more than 90 countries and regions. Exports of electronic components and computer parts also grew at double-digit rates, contributing 6.9 percentage points to overall export growth.
