China Sets a New World Record for Perovskite-Organic Tandem Solar Cells at 28.04 Percent Certified Efficiency

A team led by Academician Li Yongfang and researcher Meng Lei at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Chemistry has achieved a certified 28.04 percent steady-state power conversion efficiency on a perovskite-organic tandem solar cell, the new world record for the category. The cells retain 90 percent of initial efficiency after 625 hours of continuous light-soaking and can be solution-processed in roll-to-roll printing like a newspaper.
