(Photo by Yuki Kohara) Moves seen as a hedge against geopolitical turmoil and a play on the weak yen TOKYO — Just 20 minutes away by monorail from Haneda Airport in Tokyo is a waterfront area called Tennozu where high-rise condominiums tower over Tokyo Bay to the east. Residents can look westward toward Shinagawa Station, one of Tokyo's busiest transportation hubs, where Japan's maglev trains are expected to begin service in the 2030s.
